Growing up in New Orleans, where art and festivals
were a great influence, my expression as an artist
began at the age of 10. Through the encouragement
of one teacher in particular, I continued to pursue
painting as a career.
The fascination I have with colors and the expression
of messages of positive emotions can be seen in
my paintings. My most recent focus however, is
on the technique of the successful union of
acrylics and oils. The marriage of vibrant colors
and technique has allowed me to paint such
pictures which provokes the viewer to see
beyond the ordinary.
